Evil Dead: The Game was announced at The Game Awards, and it's coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC in 2021.
Based on the iconic horror franchise, Evil Dead: The Game features both co-op and PvP gameplay. The debut trailer featured some familiar faces and locales from the franchise, including the return of Bruce Campbell as Ash.
Players will join teams of four to "seal the breach between worlds," while others "take control of the powerful Kandarian Demon to hunt Ash and his friends while possessing Deadites, the environment, and even the survivors themselves," according to developer Saber Interactive.
Evil Dead: The Game will feature multiple maps, including the infamous cabin in the woods, and over two dozen weapons, including Ash's signature chainsaw.
"I’m excited to be strapping on the chainsaw one more time,” said Campbell. “Boss Team and Saber Interactive are planning a huge immersive dealio, and I knew I had to come back. You’ll be able to step into my shoes and kick some Deadite ass!”

I liked Friday 13th more than dead by daylight. Community isnt the best tho, and always some assholes that drive off without getting fuel or battery and leave those who worked hard behind. And that makes me go into rage mode
Today brings an update on the hotly-anticipated Evil Dead: The Game, with Boss Team Games and Saber Interactive announcing that the game will no longer be released in 2021.
As Bruce Campbell had recently suggested in an interview, the game has indeed been bumped to next year, now tentatively set for release in February 2022. Why, you ask?
“Hey groovy gamers, we’re targeting a new release date to give the team some extra time for polish and to ensure this is the ultimate Evil Dead experience you’re all waiting for!” the developers tweeted. “This additional time is also allowing us to implement a single-player option that will let you enjoy the game when you are without your co-op compadres.”

Whaaaaaaat? Are you serious?
The first one is ultra low-budget and cheesy.
The second one is basically a remake with higher budget, comedy elements and a lot better effects.
The third one (Army of Darkness) is very different and more of an action-adventure-comedy with some light horror elements.
The tv-series is okay. The first season started off kinda meh but picked up in the latter half. Season two keeps the better quality of the second half of season one. Lucy Lawless who played Xena the Warrior Princess has a big role in this show.
Anyway, this film series is ubiquitous and should be a bucket-list item for everyone if only to get all the pop culture references and experiencing Bruce Campbells legendary performance as Ash (well, he was a very young and inexperienced actor in the first Evil Dead) being the protagonist with the sickest and funniest one-liners in any comedy-horror movie franchise.
Signature/Avatar nuking: none (can be changed in your profile)
