The SEGA Money Train is chugging along the railway line; if you've ridden the train before, you've most probably seen what Football Manager is and you know what the experience is like.
They're supposed to reveal "updates and features" in the weeks leading up to Beta release day, per usual. As players we know the Football Manager developers' definition of a "feature" could be as vague as changing a word in a sentence, adding a stripe to a sock or adding an entirely new rhetorical question for players to answer in a meaningless "press conference".
We also know that with every new iteration of Football Manager comes new bugs that'll take until the next version of Football Manager to fix; and if not, they'll just not fix them at all, per usual.
We know the Steam forums will flood with topics made by players complaining about too many injuries, too many red cards, too many off-sides, too stupid goal keepers, too much RNG, too few actual improvements to the previous version, too ugly match engine graphics.

If he's the white team manager, they're in the process of attacking a corner (air duels in process) - why would he wave them back, and they're mostly faced away from his gesture?

Like I said the cover is poor. Maybe he's waving to some players to stay back? Who knows and it's not that this should be discussed at all. I would be happy with no cover at all as long as the content is great. I have to admit that I'm expecting another zero-to-none actual changes compared to previous versions.

What's wrong with discussing a cover? They're not exactly doing the game any favors.
Most of us won't see the cover, as we'll grab the game digitally, but still.

Sucks that they don't make fifa manager.
Maybe it wasn't the better game but studium buildings made it more fun. Plus there was always some competition and things to improve between Fifa and Football. Now that Football is only game in town. It fucking sucks.

Haha yeah, I really wish we could merge threads, and make a giant Football Manager - The Reskinning one like the Formula Derp, Pro Evo Failure and the 2K series. Hell, we could do that with the 80% of the sequels released these days
I'm still in rehab when it comes to FM, so staying away from the thread would be recommended for me. I need to be careful though, the desire is always around the corner, all the entire nights spent playing it nearly costed me my degree years ago xD |
