yeah, the AC unit has been on all day today. 34 C here in Zagreb, but the asphalt covered streets make it even worse.

Pfff idk if I should take Kaizen with me, planning to go get some weed in a town near me. But the streets are so damn hot, idk if it's smart to let him walk longer periods on it
But don't want to leave him alone too in this hot place

How are you liking our Mediterranean summer, dear Humpers of the North
It really, really sucks though.
I'll never get used to such temperatures either, almost prefer last year's "summer" with all the mini-tornadoes, go figure xD

We're kinda used to heat down here. It does suck when it's like 39C in the shade but oh well. I still prefer summer.

I hate temperatures like this, it's fine for me during the day but it's so bloody hot in the night. Sweating all over the place. Tomorrow is going to be the hottest day here.

40 C°... my German basement dwelling pale ass nerdbody isn't made for this shit... I'm dying... and my PC suffers too which obviously hurts me aswell since we're deeply connected. Fuck, I hate Summer so much.
I have two ventilators running.. obviously not doing shit except for shuffeling this hot air through my room...
Gonna lend me a state of the art mobile air conditioner later today... if everything goes according to plan.

Better you guys than me, we already went through a couple of ~40ºC patches this year, now standing at a cool 26ºC for today.
Enjoy the weather guys

Heavy thunderstorm this night, it was beautiful. At times there were so many thunderbolts at once that the sky was as bright as daylight.

Same here. I still prefer the heat over unbearable cold weather. Guess I'm more used to the hot weather than the cold.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Officially hottest was 38.2 in Maastricht yesterday, so the 43, in the shade, is kinda doubtful since you are closer to Maastricht than me even

11 AM, 37 degrees. Its back is on the east side, so the sun is behind it in this shot (as you can see) and the thing itself is under a big darkened rooflet (? think that's the right word anyway). Only time it catches any sunlight is after 7 PM.
I don't know what the official readings require in terms of conditions, I'm sure mine is in the wrong spot for that but it still doesn't catch any sunlight at the hottest time of the day, so the reading isn't biased by that

To be honest, after your butt starts sweating it's not important if it is 35 or 38 degree... The crack got wet and there is nothing you can do about it

So the sun is on the wood that it's on? It's that a factor too that heats it up from behind?

If I'm not mistaken they use a globe-thermometer for official temperatures. Which measure Mean Radiant Temperature.
There can be about a difference of 2,5 degrees with those compared to a normal thermometer.
So account that + placing.
Edit:
Oops, sorry guess I was mistaken... it measures somewhere between Air and MRT... not MRT like I claimed above. Still the 2,5 estimate is still valid.

Bitches please. Unairconditioned metro, 1 hour / direction every day. Luckily it's still just 30 Celsius, but next week up to 40.
