Sweet. I've played AA for a long time and was somewhat good at it too.
It's free and has a very good realistic engine.
It's been a while since I've played but I'll pick it up again I think.

I never liked AA much either. (The whole propanganda thing left a strange taste) but if it's the first to be released with UE 3 (like it was the first with UE 2) I'll still have a look at it.
However, if anything else comes out before, it loses any interest. And I don't care that it's free ... we're on nforce. Most people here get every game for free anyway.

well the last I had was 36, but as I said...I haven't played for a long time...
My favorite map was Pipelines, I was a master on that one.
It's been a year and a half I think since I've played....maybe even longer.
Has the game changed much? With the last update I've played you could become a medic if I remember well.

I used to play lots of AA, used to be leader of the clan MAGIC, maybe some of you heard of them. I had 56 honor when I retired.

You can't cheat in AA anymore since Punkbusters was included.

AA was the only game I cheated on and I will try again with the new version. I was able to cheat long after PB was included in the game - AND on official servers, which is the only way to raise HONOR while CHEATING!
Players there were too good to be affected by cheating anyway and once I turned off the cheats I was shot repeatedly and with fervor!

Cheating is soo boring and stupid. It ruins the game damn much.
If you can't accept to be shot while playing a game online, go back to Quake in Easy or something.
Americas Army is a great game and is well done, but that doesn't makes it justified to cheat on.

Just started playing AA v2.30  The graphics aren't exactly cutting edge anymore, but the sound effects are some of the best I've heard  Should keep me occupied until CoD2 gets released

the game would be better without the mp community, the few times ive tried to play it i've been on low-honor n00b servers which is all we newbies can play, with 5-10 high-honor players gathering like vultures for easy prey.
i mean like the feeling you get when you join a game isn't about having fun or anything, it's to try to get away from the ones who've played the game for ages who just want to kill you or complain when you do something "wrong". i got bullied into leaving by two mookies when i killed an enemy with my grenade and then got shot by one of my own teammates. somehow that was MY fault.
it's always like that, you join and then the complaining starts, you're not fast enough, you're not good enough, you're not a fucking expert at the game even though every idiot there can see you've just started playing.
if i wanted to be part of a community of assholes i'd still be playing cs
