That was about my opinion too, useful information but the comments sometimes devolved into some really strange arguments and seemingly anything could get users banned.

I'm starting to feel that sometimes some of these accusations are getting a bit out of hand.
They went together on a roadtrip, got drunk alot then got drunk alone in their hotel room. Guy thought he had that, did a creepy thing and fucked up. Now i wouldn't get into a shower with a girl being sick, but its not like he raped her.
Now i'm not really trying to condone this since i don't know anything about it, but she did write "street harassment count 4" at the end....
Its kinda like with Harvey, where you have legit assaults on women, but then you have some saying "yeah, he invited me to his room, i said no, he totally assaulted me" which i feel is kinda taking away from the women who were actually assaulted.
Its getting a bit weird, since women usually say the man has to do the first move, but if this goes into the extreme, i feel like US men will need written consent, witnessed by 2 people, to do anything in fear of being labeled a predator (which men kinda are tbh). I read an article that a lot of high profile Silicon Valley execs refuse to be in a meeting with a woman alone, in fear of getting accused of sexual harassment.

Well we have a simple solution here to avoid problems like that which never failed me: simply ask the lady in question if she want's to do some nasty things with you and don't just jump naked on her like some animal in heat, at least if you don't know her well enough.

Old news... the admin/owner(or at least one of them) has been doing that shit for quite a while and yet none of the forums many "progressive" members ever seemed to be much bothered with it.

It sounds creepy judging from her angle, but she was in a hotel room with him alone, and its not usually a turn on for a guy to ask for permission. If she kept her boyfriend secret until the point of the "crime" i'd say she more than asked for a misunderstanding to happen.

Where i come from it's just common courtesy to ask if someone you don't know all that well actually want's to fuck with you and not just strip and jump on her, i don't think anything excuses behavior like that no matter the circumstances unless you are an orangutan or something like that of course.

Of course i agree about the stripping down and entering the shower part. Its just that having a girl give you a lot of attention, follow you to a hotel and take a shower will make most guys think she's interested.
