Wonder boy seems very nice. Great art design.
Only one suggestion and the rest is trolling? as someone wrote in the asscreed thread, nfohumpers are always complaining about AAA but still buying and playing them instead of the gems :/ ( and ofc king's bounty *rolls eyes)

stumbled apon this in my queue, and it was a beautiful, charming, funny romp for a few evenings. you just feel the love the creators have for their project in every flavor text, in the animations, even the credits screen in the end is a work of love.

Not particularly obscure but some of the low-budget indies that I enjoyed recently-ish and would recommend (belonging to various genres): Dex, Underrail, The Age of Decadence, Antichamber, Shardlight (or any other game from Wadjet Eye), Samorost 3, Black The Fall, Hyper Light Drifter, Rain World.

Already played through both of those. Especially bastion was great. A real masterpiece.

Already got dex.
Tried age of decadence but it kinda was too hard/obscured to get in to for me at least.
Black the fall seems very nice. Weird that ive never heard of it till now.
Besides shardlight the rest didnt draw my atention somehow.

At every steam sale i always am conflicted about buying or not buying the forest. I end up not buying it since i wouldnt have anyone to coop with. Is the story and content finally finished though?
