i am just after some info on what is the best sat nav software to use on the pc (laptop) i aint paying £300 - £400 on a pda when i can buy a receiver for £35 and use my laptop..
anyone done the same and can recommend certain software..
i have heard that the new autoroute 2005 supports gps not tried it as yet..
i got an older pda off ebay for £150 and a gps for £80 to put in the top of it. Then put tom tom on it.. cheap enough for a car solution. got me round wales for a week with no probs!
