Anyone played this?

I'm playing it through right now. I read everywhere that even if you just want to complete the story it's like a 20-30 hour ride.

I'm already at the 4th act and (there are six in total) and I've played like 5 hours?

BS game length?

I played it for 1-2 hours, I had issues with stuttering that almost made me puke so I stopped and refunded. Will have to check it out again.

The gameplay was a nice combination of simple strategy and in-person fighting.

Sys config?

If you decrase the ingame res slider and put post process a bit down its playable without losing any fancy graphics stuff.

It is really surprising how everyone seems to avoid this game. Most of the gameplay videos you will see is just early gameplay and no one played etc..

Yet reviews are: BIG MEGA omega game! This is the meaning of life etc...

So far I really like it with this hexen approach: multiple chars, puzzles etc.

Yes this game is fantastic, it's definitely up there with the big VR games.

5th act= 8 hours.

I really dont get it how they can state that the main story is 20-30 hours.

Finished it. It was good, but there are some stuff that is not really mentioned anywhere :

-Picking up stuff can be tiring, you have to find the sweet spot otherwise you will grab your sword/knife etc..

-If you do the main storyline only the game is not 20 hours as they have stated: around 10 which is long enough

-There are 5 planets and 6 sagas (first and last ones are brief)

-There are 5 heroes. The last hero you unlock by completing the game and he doesn't have a full saga dedicated to him.

-Don't overthink the list of what can you do in the game. Some of them are like 30 second challenge stuff and even side quests are something you will receive out of nowhere.

the follow up gets a 10/10 from IGN

https://www.ign.com/articles/asgards-wrath-2-review

highly doubt it's a 10/10 but since i got i free with Quest 3 i'll check it out when it arrives in 14-15h....

i think the FPS looks low in the IGN review, but idk, he also says he had zero motion sickness which i think would be impossible if the FPS lower than 60 (preferably you would want more than that).

not much for puzzles so i might hate it. 90-100h playtime also sounds too much, a.k.a lots of repetition and grind to prolong it.

One important thing though is the 2nd is not on PC. Quest 2 and 3 only.
