So installed the latest patch for w10. Did disk cleanup afterwards to delete previous installations of w10 (34gb it showed). Left it running and it stopped around 50% or so (as in checked ssd space and it only freed 17gb, then i hit cancel to restart it.

Lo and behold next time i ran the disk cleanup utility to continue the 17-20gb cleanup.. it says there are no more files to delete.

I check my SSD - 65gb used out of 110 (128).. 24 free.

My virtual memory settings are to use only 3gb so that's not it.
Hidden files are shown, everything takes up 65gb..while the SSD shows 85gb used out of all... so 20gb gone in limbo? WTF.

Any ideas?

What do you use to measure used disk space?
Explorer? Explorer runs in your user security context, launch total commander using your administrator token and measure disk space that way.
