Nope, the author is a Polish economist that had nothing to do with games before. Story goes that he was asked why do you want to do this game, are you nuts? He answered do you know how many people are there in apiculture? 12 millions. Eventually the game sold like mad and was ported to all consoles and is a hit on Switch

a nice addition to the collection. features deserve a translation:
- first-perfson view sitting near the entrance of an authentic soviet apartment building
- first-person view smoking
- say "suka blad etc by pressing 1-2- and other keys
- classic chav outfit includes counterfeit hat and sport shoes
- cigarette emits smoke
- NPCs leave footprints on snow (nextgen gfx)

Yes but can you get drunk then walk aimlessly on the streets and in traffic, randomly falling down? You know, a typical ruskie evening? Otherwise, it's not a simulator but arcade.
