Protection - Tages 5.5 Impossible to create a working backup with available tools. Also cracking is much harder. chill out man, life is beautifull...

We can play starforce protected games so why tages is a so big problem?

It's out since at least one week here in France but no release yet... i first didn't understand why but since i learn it's Tages , i now understand Sad

I guess that the first tools which worked for Fahrenheit (which used Tages too) are now blacklisted... hopefully, i'm sure that people are working on it Very Happy

Where is the problem? Indigo prophecy had the same protection but a version earlier. Just a matter of time.

I didn't remember the name of the tool we used to fool Tages protection on "Indigo Prophecy"
That was TetrisEmu !! Very Happy

btw, i remember that it worked on the unpatched version and that they have blacklisted it with the 1.1 patch.

This game looks great, I really liked what did they to it RTS/FPS but doesn't seem to ruin the game.

There is an iso floating around on the torrent sites. Weighs in at 4.37gb. Multilanguage too but apparently still uncracked. Just in case anyone's wondering or keeping score.

I guess its time to start new black PR against Tages. It installs its drivers into your system without asking btw. Could be dangerous and stuff How about HUGE petition?

I've never heard about Tages, before it was mentioned a few days ago. Does it actually do something to your system (like starforce) or is it just hard to crack?

It was used on some older games like XIII and Beyond Good and Evil, then they stopped using it until Fahrenheit and Echo:TLC. People have to use T.E.T.R.I.S tool to "mount" a file which contains certain data needed to verify the disc as being original. I think Tages producers have blacklisted that method by now thought Sad
