Sin317-"im 31 years old and still surprised at how much shit comes out of my ass actually ..."
SteamDRM-"Call of Duty is the symbol of the true perfection in every aspect. Call of Duty games are like Mozart's/Beethoven's symphonies"
deadpoetic-"are you new to the cyberspace?"
Toddmen also briefly specified that it's going to be a single-player entry, which hopefully will mean what it typically means (these can be misleading times when it comes to that).

Do you get worked up about everything or is ranting just your preferred language?
I'll give you, it's beyond silly how sparse they are with information at times. I don't see a reason why they just can't be to the point with genre and what not.
These things come in waves. As one trend fade out another is growing into full bloom for a couple of years until it fades away and the next thing shows up.
Bit of a damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of situation for Bethesda - sure they could license some other engine (or use one of the Zenimax owned studios' engines) but in the process you'd lose a lot of what makes Bethesda games, well, Bethesda games. Or say they spend the time and resources to rewrite the entire engine from scratch; you'd still have the same people working there, eg. the same animators and people would bitch about the shit animations and blame it on Gamebryo.
Before everyone asks, please be patient. It’s going to be a long time. It’s not something we’re going to be talking about at E3, either of those games, this year. And so patience, please, but you know, given the anniversary, we did want to give everybody a taste…
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
