Quantum break with a female protagonist and monsters. And the engine looks the same to me. Even some assets look the same lol. I won't be surprised if the game performs like shit. Laughing

Eh, I would've preferred Alan Wake 2. Quantum Break was an okay game, but nothing special, IMO. And this one looks too similar to QA for my liking.

Quantum Break's uber-cinevisceralmoviematic approach sadly didn't quite push the right buttons* for me, but if Remedy will tone the handhold-y structure down to more acceptable levels and focus on gameplay/physics/powers whilst adding a decent amount of optimization this time around, I could be interested. Yeah, the grand plan of merging hollyboo and gaming has backfired when it comes to costs/budget, I think they definitely had to revisit their strategies (among the other things).

I was watching Sami Payne's himself explaining the new more gameplay-oriented approach, it sounds rather interesting (on paper). Expectations aren't high of course, but I appreciate that they're still making a single-player game after all Razz

The game design is strong in this one. Let's hope they deliver.

Kinda reminds me of when Arkane was developing Prey.

LOL, good one.

I have no idea what they're making, but it looks like another idea based on an average basic concept developed too far to quit on, but then packed in an overly convoluted story to make it seem less lame. Like Quantum Break with awkward special powers and the unnecessary puzzles with time reversal. I'd rather just watch their movie clips instead of playing through that boringly done action part.

Their basic game is still pretty much the same as Max Payne 2. Why can't they use simpler, but more effective settings that would fit their core gameplay. A space station with some alien infestation, a horror with some kind of monsters/zombies/cultists that you actually shoot at (not that lame light thing from AW), a third person noir Cold War spy action thriller.. Whatever.

This supernatural stuff just seems too awkward to work here, but I hope I'm wrong.
