Hello all Smile

So i got this pc and have had nothing but stability issues.
After it running fine for days the freezing come back.
Opened radeon software and checked the load monitors.
On desktop no games running the gpu spikes up and down loading from 100% but nothing is running?
It causes my pc to temp freeze then it black freezes and recovers only to do this again?
It is a wattman setting?
Even though i do not know where to access these setting in the software?
Any help greatly appreciated as sometimes i cannot load a bleeding video on youtube.

Thank you.

MSI afterburner lists active 3D processes via 'i' button. Dunno if it works with AMD cards.

Or/And you could try this

I t is so annoying this is.
On desktop gpu is on 100% then goes down sometimes stays on.
Looked online nothing.
Amd drivers are utter shite.
Keep getting this still every few mins.
Once it starts, the amd software closes then re starts.
Is there a way to fix this i have looked all over.
Nothing.
New rig too absolute nightmare.

uninstall the drivers with driver uninstaller DDU in safe mode

then after a reboot, install amd chipset drivers, then after another reboot , install latest amd drivers in administrator mode

Just in case it can be of any help. I was experiencing occasional (like once a week) hard freezes on the Win10 lock screen and after trying quite a few things without success I started doing a bit of tinkering on the power options in control panel (following some suggestions from hardware forums) and after a few tries it hasn't happened again for over 2 months now.

The amount of people having issues with amd drivers is a lot of people.
Nothing fixes certain things with there drivers.
Nvidia are miles ahead driver wise.
Still doing it now.

Do this first.
What driver version are you using?

Im just litrally downloading an earlier amd driver this one is.
win10-radeon-software-adrenalin-2020-edition-19.12.3-dec18.exe

I earlier removed all amd software in safemode used ddu to remove both amd and nvidia drivers and tried installing the chipset driver off a restart again.
As it was installing just after halfway through the install i got distortion on my tv screen as if the hdmi was not plugged in correctly.
It finished installing i restarted, installed the driver software again.
All installed ok but as usual few mins later screen freeze, flashes on and off for 5 seconds then comes back on and repeat.
What an absolute ball ache.

I have gone through every possibility to fix this what i know of.
Searched the net high and low and it will just not stay stable at all.
