MOTHERGUNSHIP mixes bullet-hell intensity with the shooting, customization, and traversal of the first-person genre. Fight your way through the alien fleets, facing randomized enemy and level mayhem as you clear rooms and take out some of the biggest bosses seen in the FPS genre.
FIGHT
Face off against overwhelming odds in brutal, non-stop combat where thinking on your feet is the only way to survive. Dodge hundreds of bullets with unique FPS/Bullet-hell hybrid gameplay. Each ship hosts hordes of alien machines, deadly traps, and intimidating bosses, all set on preventing you from saving humanity. Go get ‘em.
CRAFT
To take down the MOTHERGUNSHIP, you’ll need your very own personalized arsenal of destruction. Luckily, in MOTHERGUNSHIP you can create the gun of your dreams with one of the most modular gun-crafting systems ever seen in a videogame. Want to have twelve-barrel gun that shoots homing rockets? Or do you prefer a lightning shotgun? And what gun wouldn’t look better with a fishtank afixed to the top? Go for it! The design of your destructive arsenal is in your hands.
RESIST
Join the ranks of global resistance movement and take back Earth together with your friends. Fight together with a friend in a full CO-OP experience, or participate with the community while you work together to cut through the alien fleet and reach that ultimate goal – bringing down the MOTHERGUNSHIP.

Mothergunship Is Intense, First-Person, Bullet Hell Madness

First-person shooters and bullet hells aren’t a common pairing, and that’s a shame — the result can be complete, overwhelming madness, and I mean that in the best way possible. If you’ve played Devil Daggers or even Tower of Guns (the first game from Terrible Posture Games), you know what I mean.
There’s a certain, frantic joy in strafing around an arena while juggling a few dozen threats at the center of your crosshairs. That kind of fast-paced chaos is exactly what Terrible Posture’s latest endeavor, Mothergunship, seems to be going for, and based on my brief hands-on demo the result is something pretty special.
Mothergunship is one of those shooters that demands constant movement — and those are some of the best kind, when pulled off right. I spent most of my demo frantically strafing and hopping around its massive spaceship setting’s huge, metallic rooms – partially to dodge its many dangers as I blasted my way to the next procedurally generated arena, but also because it felt pretty good.

Played tutorial so far, pretty fun. I wish guns had a bit more meaty feel to them though in terms of sound design. The weapon building system seems fun though, should provide some tinkering potential and make it not get as dull so fast.
Went into the game folder and the Game.exe is labelled tower of guns 2....Hectic and I got stuck at the first boss as it trapped me at the end of the tunnel and I couldn't kill it. So I just kept coming back and it's health line never went down...rage quit and uninstalled!
I was expecting it to be more different than Tower of Guns
