Hi.. So here`s my issue.. I had a Win10 Home ed. laptop.. it sold on ebay recently. I went ahead and reset the Dell pc ( it obviously put the 8.1 image back ) that`s on the hidden partition. I didn`t realise and now the buyer messaged me saying it has 8.1 on it and do I have a Win10 key What are my options? thanks in advance.. just tell him to clean install win 10 without entering a key (obtain image via media creation tool). the hardware id is stored online and it will activate itself automatically just fine
