Quote:
It’s June 6th 1944 and the Allied Invasion of Europe has begun. Storm the Normandy coast as the revered British Commandos, take and hold crucial objectives as the elite 6th Airborne, or hold the line as the fierce German Wehrmacht in this tactical multiplayer squad-based shooter.

Lead your team to victory by suppressing the enemy and using squad-based tactics to win the fight. With its real-world battlefields and painstakingly recreated weapons, equipment and uniforms all rendered in the stunning CRYENGINE, Vanguard: Normandy 1944 challenges players to fight and secure historic WWII objectives during the most ferocious and intense battle of modern history: D-Day.

Oh look....another one! We haven't had a World War II shooter in a whole 11 days! Everyone get on the train to Fun Town! Rolling Eyes

How long until this time-period craze passes? It was done to death and back in the early 2000's era.

Yeah, this thing is DOA. Laughing

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

Vietnam is also overdone. The smart money is on an alternate history WW3 in the Cold War era. Set in an alternate 1962 after the Cuban missile crisis caused the outbreak of a war between the USA+allies and soviet-bloc countries. You can even set it at 1970, 8 years into the war, so you can have some retro-futuristic gadgets developed during the war and some maps set in Fallout-style nuclear-devastated areas from several years ago, so the radiation isn't lethal.
