Quote: | I can not stress enough that Blacksad: Under The Skin is essentially a 9-hour fever dream. This fact is key to almost every compliment and criticism that can be hurled at the game. The story opens with a rhino angry that you’ve got photos of him cheating on his wife with a fox, for goodness sake! |

Currently playing this, apart from technical difficulties and consolitis it's a decent game so far. Story is interesting and the detective angle is nice. Not that complicated so far on the adventure front, it's more story based, but I'm enjoying it.

Been a little fan of the Pendulo Studios' characters (Spanish company), though for some games i had to go with a guide because i was like "Errr what now?"
Thanks for the replies, Areius! ^^

Uuugh i'm stucked.. The game's more talk than hint getting, and no hints like
Spoiler: | You should use the phone NOW |
Now i've--
Spoiler: | Talked with the cop at the diner, got 2-3 more proofs, and now i can't solve the avaliable with solution thought. The only options that matches a 3rd one are the 4 neck marks and the stretching tool , but dunno what the 3rd option is! |
Any help?

Spoiler: | The stretcher thought needs to be combined with Yale disappearance, you'll find clues in the locker at the boxing gym (pick the locks and talk to the gorilla). I think there might be another one that needs to be combined with it. |

Spoiler: | I already did all the locks (Racism, book, stretcher, the flag, the painted towel thingy, the photo) and talked to the gorilla but there's nothing much else. I might try entering the Diner again since the lady in there left, if the option's there.. Otherwise i'm totally lost |

So i've finished the game and i even made a (Spanish, sorry) playthrough for YT about it
THE GOOD
-The characters, gotta love their designs. The spanish creator for the comic did a great supervision for the 3D versions
-A very nice story with it's plot twists
-The decisions, some were nice
-The dub (atleast the one i played) was greatly fitting
-The surprising ending! (Though i made a tiny bad choice but hey, YT helps later on..And it did!)
THE BAD
-Technical issues on GOG's 1.02 version like being stucked behind a door when you go through it between scenario changes, forcing you to reload the save
-Some bad checkpoints forcing you to re-watch a scene FROM THE BEGINNING or even AN EARLIER POINT...There's barely any between an scenario's checkpoints (Be it grabbing a clue, etc)
-Some moments of the game made the subs disappear until reloading the game, the whole sound turned off for seconds (Near end game), STUTTERING for certain animations (Specially at the end) and other things
-Having to be specific at aiming at stuff to progress on the game (Certain room at the middle of the game, i look at you...)
-You expect that some bad guys would get killed when pointing to them as the bad guys in some situations/decisions, but in the end that didn't happened...Disappointment
-WALKING...WAL-KING...Where's the "Walk a tad bit faster" button like THE WALKING DEAD?!
-At the very beginning of the game there's a 2nd scenario to continue on, yet the game doesn't tells you somehow that "you can go there", forcing ya to go deep walking offscreen to the left when you have to go to the right (Where are you now, INVISIBLE WALLS?!)
----
It's a very nice game, with the almost originality to use greatly designed Anthros as characters instead of humans, and with very well done 90's scenarios. If it weren't for it's tech difficulties it could've been better.. 7/10
...Now where's the savegame for the GOG version?!
