hope its better than the demo, had many shortcomings, lets hope for a radical turnaround like they did with raliiisport challange 2 and Project Gothem - this needs to be good as it will be compared against GT4 and from the demo it was no where near

but gt4 cheats... alloy wheels are 2d... scenery has less to look at etc... it is because xbox gives a better all round experience while gt4 concentrates on what people will notice most
2 different approaches but i appreciate both... they will both be good games... gt4 is good and forza has the online element to make xbox owners happy

hey! they are talking about the gfx ONLY here! and after that they claim it to be really nice, just not as good as gt.
the core of the game, the gameplay, should without doubt beat gt-series to a bloody pulp. and it has something small called "online".

okay i know this will be dvd9, but i ask how will they rip a dvd5 out opf it,
hopeully ripping the extra lanuages will be enough, cause i doubt there be many videos on the game itself,
theres a chance it wont be able to be ripped sucsesfully to dvd5.

theres probably going to be videos of each car performing or something like that, they do have that occasionally on driving games, plus a microsoft game will probably have demos and videosof upcoming stuff too, maybe a dvd5 of it will be really simple?

I've just saw a vid of it, looks nice and probaly its a nice game to play but to say its a racing sim.??? No way, for a real racing sim you have to be on the pc. I hate all those so called 'ulitmate racing simulators'

I dont say that. I say you must be on the pc for the real sims. Why? a console game is often for all the poeple and must be playable for everyone. For example dtm2. For the pc version there is a sim. mode and for the console there is only semi-sim.

yes the pc is more powerful, of course, but there is no racing game on the pc which has physics as good as in GT4.
see the pc may be much more powerful than the consoles, but all this power is only used for graphics, graphics and more graphics,
thats why pc games will never be able to touch the innovation and gameplay
of console games.
this may turn into a flame war but i dont care i m not the one who started, my flame was fueled...

Thats also true. I red an interview some time ago and (gp4) the developers said they changed the physics a bit to more arcade cos of my reason.
@pallebrun, you really are funy. I've played the demo and was really disapointed with the so called super realistic physics. It just played like a semi-sim. Same as dtm2 for example -> its nice for consoles but when you campare it with the real sims like Live for speed, gtr, rfactor and gplegends its not much. (the only console game that comes close is gt4 in my opnion) When you really want a hardcore sim you dont have to be on a console. The physics dont even come close to reality. You even can see it in the vids.

On some corners he turns in, when he comes to close to the apex he turns a bit wider and after that he turns back to the apex again. With the speed he drives you cant do that. The weight of the car will let the car spin (you cant even see the springs working)
