Yes i've watched them all upto now...
Just watched episode 13 and have to say that was one of the best fights so far...

Those uppercuts Jesse landed at the end must have hurt badly...Loved the look on his face when Anthony got back up after the first blow...WTF...Classic.

really i thought it would be sergio + alfonso in the final but nope :/. Hmmm on tvtome there's a 3rd place runner up... do you know if the 2 losers from these matches will fight before the final or not? is there a way to stream the live recording?

Yeah it was a great fight in episode 13, although I think the winner got lucky because the other guy was technically a better boxer.

nah he wasn't. if he fought like he did in the round previously it woulda been better. the other guy was leaving himself open, was the underdog from the start as well.

It was 3 to 1 in favor of the loser before the knockout, he was a technical boxer, he should have just kept his defense up and moved away and he would have won. But it got personal.
The amount of punches he landed on the winner was massive, and he hardly got any punches on him except for that one round. But the winner seemed almost completely unfazed by his punches, he handled them really well.
Obviously he couldn't handle punches as well as the winner. But it was a lucky uppercut anyway. Even the trainers or whatever thought so.

it was only 3 to 1 because he got beat by him in the first round. if he didnt then his record was like 24-0 and the other guy was 7-3 or somethin crap, he was smaller, and lighter and had a worse record. He was an underdog really.

dont do that shit to me. they haven't cancelled this season but were gonna do another. i think that's probably wise unless they changed the weight category but then it wouldn't be as fun, these are supreme boxers and probably the most exciting weight category |

It comes as little surprise that NBC has cancelled the boxing reality drama The Contender, announced today at NBC's Upfronts for 2005-2006. It will not return for a second season, so the May 24th finale will be the series finale.

martinius are you serious? that news is ollllllddddddd. we're on ep 14. it's kinda ironic how the makers say his death had nothing to do with the show but it obviously did. kinda sucks how he had a daughter and he gave it all up because he couldnt box.

yea i just watched it too, out of the 2 possible matches this final will prolly be the best. that was the worst fight yet though, sergio could be great if he used his right hand, instead of doing 4 or 5 shots to the ribs he could do 3 to the ribs and 3 to the head.
