The live-action interracial romance follows the duo, two teenagers from very different backgrounds, who find themselves burdened and awakened to newly acquired superpowers while falling in love — Tandy can emit light daggers and Tyrone has the ability to engulf others in darkness. Budget is $42M. If it's going to be ~13 episodes, as its expected for now, that's about the same budget the Marvel series on Netflix get, which means it should have pretty strong production values.
If the episode order is 20something, then not so much.
