I dont think you can get much more on maybe a couple of mb but I may be wrong.
Why cant you use a dvdr?

or buy some of those 90 or 100min cdr's if your writer supports them

80 min cdr should fit perfect to you - I used them couple times to burn some Noir episodes cuz i always were missing 10/20 megs at standart 70min cd

I just use nero. In the preferences you can adjust the overburn options. I think you can easiliy burn a 710 mb movie on a 700mb cd
