Really dislike this obsession with adding active elements to turn based games. Kind of defeats the whole purpose of playing turn based. Just make an action game then. Also, stuff like parrying to nullify all damage sounds insanely broken in a turn based game. It looks fine outside of that, but I don't know why devs can't let me relax in this genre.

Yeah, I also have the feeleing that it's more a "QTE simulator" than a game...
i'm so tired of weird lore Elden ring / dark souls does it in tasteful way, like a really good artists was behind it. most other games just feels so atrocious in comparison, that it's weird for the sake of "we must make it stand out, look at elden ring, people like that strange stuff."
without researching, i bet this is not a japanese company, more likely EU or US, they suck at this type of theme.

I don't think Elden Ring is just "dark fantasy", it also has a sense of humor to it + it's weird, their games are very much its own style and it's also recognizably Japanese. While this game looks like someone has some vague idea about "let's make it weird, because that seems pretty popular" but that's it. I could be wrong because i didn't play the entire game, but the tone, of what i've seen so far looks just like someone doing a poor impression of it.
It's not really about "who created it" at all, if someone can nail the tone i'm all in. This isn't it though, by the looks of it. Just looks ridiculous.
Dark Fantasy for western games is what we call grimdark (Dark Sun, WH), but this isn't that at all either.
Still got good looking characters. What's going on? This is a western game...

I've been to France couple of times but... all I can say is - without starting a war over this, hopefully - I like our Romanian girls much better.
However...
The chick with long hair from Fextra's video (not thumb) is quite nice, though. And compared to that... 'thing' from Fable... these ones are contenders to beauty competitions.

Middle/Eastern Europe is where it's at with girls. Nothing comes close, if you like natural beuty.
