Only came across this, and as far as I can tell, it's kind of a multiplayer space station simulator, with the only goal being: survive.
Supposedly, every player assumes a random job on board the station, like security, technicians, scientists, officers, even janitors. Every role has their specific tasks, set areas they can go to, etc. Every now and then, the game will create an emergency, like alien attack, malfunctions, etc and the players have to deal with it. AFAIK there are no NPCs, everything is player driven.
Right now I'm watching a tutorial video, and looks very interesting and complex.
Also, the game is buttfuck ugly, just sayin. 
I'll try it out soon and if it's any good, maybe we can make a humper server for some backstabbing action.

Meh, Ive been playing this for ages, its okay but the people playing it are terrible.
Not to talk about how boring it gets once you figure you how to do pretty much most things.

That game is quite fucking deep and detailed with everything you can do.
I played it some time ago, even hosted my own server with a bunch of people playing.
A remake sounds awesome!
I hate you.

After watching 2 tutorial videos, it sounds like a cross between Dwarf Fortress and a long sunk MMO called Seed. I'll definitely try it out later tonight.

I tried it, but man it's so laggy. Takes away all the fun; I really wanted to like it.

The laggyness sure is annoying as hell but once you robusted your first clown to death because he was trying to take your shoes and get beaten, stripped and thrown in jail for a couple of minutes while the station goes to shit (more often than not quite literally at that) you haven't experienced half the fun this offers.
It's quite obvious I usually only play on the goonstation servers, isn't it? xD
