I bought it, played it for an hour, and refunded. Even at $15 it was a hard sell. Genuinely don't understand what people see in this...
-While the graphics don't bother me with regards to the maps/terrain, the player models do.
-The maps fucking suck and are not big or intricate enough to support the amount of people they cram onto them. Most games devolve into masses of people just dying in the "front line" like a colonial era shooter. Occasionally a few people manage to flank and take a few enemies down before succumbing to the tide.
-The gun-play was a resounding "meh" (although the weapon customization did look in depth, as always it devolves into "use these attachments, the rest are garbage).
-Didn't get to try the vehicles, because none of the games I played during that hour spawned any, regardless of map size.
Sure, it's not a bad little fuck around game, but people are giving it way too much praise. I guess that's due to the dirt cheap price tag, but mediocre crap is still mediocre crap, regardless of price.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

all these people just werent old enough or around when we had all the halflife and battlefield mods n servers n guns n sandbox toys , they dont know any better and got stuck in cod turd 15 and bf5 2142 turds
+ all them minecrafters now had their balls drop and now wanna shoot some guns
they dont even know project reality is free that offers 128 player multiplayer on gorgeous maps
Played it back in the day - had no idea it was still around.
I just want Battlefield: Vietnam (2004) ported to a modern engine, without fucking "levolutions", tornadoes, or any other stupid modern gimmicks. Failing that, give me Rising Storm 4.

There is a game in development that's called Burning Lands, it's maybe not BF Vietnam but it's more Squad/PS/HLL Vietnam. I hope it's good.
I was about to refund this but after playing it for about 3 hours the game struck so hard that I really fell in love with it. It is really a masterpiece once you get to use to mechanics, weapon behaviour etc. Gladly Steam's refund is there if you find it not to be your thing.

I tried to enjoy it, but the head bob and sway made me almost throw up within 10mins of play! I turned off Camera Shake but that made no difference. Instant refund
