doubtful, they would lose out now because they spent money making it uncrackable in one country and then just making it a freebee

Ofcourse they deserve the money, but i don't want to use the original dvd everytime i start the game. Could get scratches on it..who knows? It's always better to use a backup because the original deserves more than to be used (raped) all the time.

hum hl2 didn't took this long i think..
i'm almost a guru in cracking games, but apparently since it's taking ages to crack, maybe the protection code is spreaded all over the game i suppose
now wouldn't this slow down performance?

The new patch fixed the coop problems. This game indeed deserves every cent spent.

True. But if you like this kind of game it is definitely worth the price.

This is just sad, the various groups trying to crack this game probably game up, it's come to the point where groups no longer will be able to crack games and they will disappear. Well maybe not completely disappear, crappy games using lame protection will still get released, but all the big titles will have to be bought.

Pathetic really.

It's not pathetic to buy games... Groups don't owe ppl anything... They don't have to crack games... It's only a shame that they are loosing this round...

Most of us hope for the new daemon tools... Anyway, the working rel of this game would be much welcome. It seems not proper that the starforce assholes laugh in our faces.

Why doesn't anyone buy it at Direct to Drive?
And then share it with us?
Then it can't have starforce protection?
You can buy it here
http://www.direct2drive.com/product.aspx?pid=170

I can't because i live in europe.

OK, buy to direct drive but the game will only work on your computer, because by each first lauch from game, the launcher generate with your computer ID, a other code that you need to send per mail, phone, post or other to direct2drive and they give you with this code your personal unsharable register key.

Have fun and play a other game in attemp for a keyg*n
