Looks like DONTNOD took a full glass of SJW KoolAid.
How? If it's an important plot point like it seems to be here and not shoe horned in or preachy i really don't see a problem with it. If just the fact that one of the main characters might be trans or gay allrdy triggers you you are definitely not better then any SJWs btw.

The problem is definitely not the minorities and only right wing loons think like that they are at least as bad at getting triggered as SJWs these days if not worse.
It's equivalent to SJWs complaining when games have white male protagonists or sexy females characters. Dontnod is a french studio so this is mostly coming from an outside perspective anyway.
The thing is LoS 2 is just not very good or interesting and LoS 1 is the only really good game they made so far. Vampyr and Remember Me had some great ideas but they where very flawed and janky games. Dunno about this game if they can get back to the great writing from LoS it might succeed.

The thing is LoS 2 is just not very good or interesting and LoS 1 is the only really good game they made so far.
Eh, I'd argue LiS2 is good, though the plot did get a bit too close to jumping the shark in Ep 4. The problem is that they really bungled the release schedule to the point where most of the interest in the game was already gone by the time Ep 2 released, and the situation only got worse from there.
First episode was decent, writing is good and the setup for the next episodes is promising. The “superpower“ in this one is better suited than the telekinesis in LiS2 but I guess nothing will beat the time manipulation from the first LiS. Looking forward to the next episodes and I hope they keep the short update cycle for their next games. It‘s on Game Pass btw.

just as with life is strange 2 with trump america, and now with transgender in tell me why, these things were blown up by people, in reality its very ok done in the games
