Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a strange, post-apocalyptic future. Unite with friends to fight monstrous enemies, uncover secret plots, compete for resources, and build your own territory. Once, you were merely human. Now, you have the power to remake the world.
Anyone tried this one? I tried the demo and apparently its to be released today.
I could not find a thread about it, but if there is - ditch this shitty one.

Q4: What are seasons in the game? And what are scenarios?
A4: Once Human has a season system. Each server only exists for a single season, and only has a single scenario. The content available on the server depends on its scenario. Every scenario offers different rules, environments, and stories to diversify your experience.
When your current server's season ends, you can move all resources and items you have earned during the season to your personal domain at Eternaland. You will then be able to register for another season.
To make things easier to understand, we will have two servers at launch: Manibus (PvE only) and Evolution's Call (includes PvP content). You are free to choose whichever server you prefer.
We have many scenarios in reserve and are currently developing new scenarios. Keep an eye out for later announcements regarding new scenarios, they should be coming very soon.
There is quite good FAQ at steam about it.
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

I was going to post a number of videos over the months but there was never a thread and I couldn’t be bothered to create one honestly lol.
I heard the game is quite good and the developers are Chinese apparently but unless it comes to console, I won’t be playing it

It does have 2 types of servers - PvE or PvP. Seems like you can't copy same character on both and have to make new one if you want to play on another server.
But am not seeing people playing the PvP. Probably it's going to be taken down in few months.
I used to play it, but have not since the launch of Throne & Liberty 3 months ago.
But they added a snow area and some new PvE dungeons and silos. The shooting is really good and mechanics are ok.
What I hate is that seasonal wipe. Every 4-5 weeks you change the server and start from lvl 1 doing everything again... At least you can skip all missions you done before and only get the rewards from them. Also the weapons balancing was shit, 2 builds were best to use with all others doing average damage. Not sure if that's improved in latest updates.
As for the servers. Don't know how it works for new players. There are different types. In the beginning we had only Manibus-Novice (PvE) and Evolution's Call-Novice (PvP but can still do PvE stuff). Then they added harder versions of those with stronger enemies and some other differences like hardcore version for dungeons. After that the new campaigns are called Way of Winter (PvE) and Prismverse's Clash (PvP). Not sure if you can jump right into the latest campaign, but is probably possible tho you might suffer due to no gear (once you finish previous seasons, you transfer all weapon/gear blueprints to craft them in the new season).
I've been reading somehwere that you can keep certain things you acquired in the previous run though.
You keep all blueprints, decorations and some currencies. But everything else like crafted weapons, tools, materials etc is stored into a special storage and you have limited points to take things from it into the new season. You get 20k points and for example the solar drill that's fastest tool for mining is 1500 points. So you can still use tools, weapons, "pets" and materials into the new seasons to speed up.
But you still start at lvl 1 and have to unlock all areas again and grind for materials and ammo. The grind is ok, imo. Not too tedious, especially with the best tools.
I checked out the game last week, after months away, and there's dozens new events and menus into menus which got me completely lost.
Think the new season just started so it might be good time to hop in. And they give tons of Starchrom for daily logging in now which is the main currency for blueprints. Or was, have not checked the new system called "Asterism".
