Based on acclaimed graphic novel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ex_Machina_(comics) by Brian K. Vaughan.

Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel will write the script for the adaptation.
Oscar Isaac will produce and star as the protagonist, Mitchell Hundred (or "The Great Machine").

Because Isaac already starred in a film called "Ex Machina", production has decided to change the name of this film to "The Great Machine".

Anyway, it all sounds interesting, but unfortunately, the past works of these writers seem to be kinda poorly reviewed..

Make of that what you will.

TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

Having read the comic ages ago, the material would be difficult to adapt as a film and was more suited to a TV series. Fair warning to anyone wanting to read it, the ending is... hard to digest. Laughing

1 and 2 are still amazing.
