Are there any groups that focus on releasing cracks for patches? I think this would be very appreciated by the whole warez community, there are always a shortage of patch cracks, some of those patches are completely essential for a game to be playable.
Hence the original release of a game is pointless if it is a buggy game itself that needs that newest patch to be playable, and no crack for that patch is anywhere to be seen for the next 2 years. So that very same release just becomes forgotten.
Like if the groups that cracks games would join forces, the crackers/programmers amongst them, having a group made up of a few crackers from different release groups who are releasing different cracks to patches as a new group completely dedicated to patch cracks.
I for one would love to see more patch cracks, that is the only thing that is lacking.

Hell ye, they exist. They are called "Dox" releases. Some that release dox also release game rips or used to.

well yes, but there are far less releases than patches, and if a new patch gets cracked it usually is more than a month delay =(

Yeah would be cool with games with alot of bugs.. good enough games that are patched for MP reasons i dont really give anything about

I voted No, If there is one thing i cant stand is new games that has tons of bugs that needs a patch ASAP like Boiling Point.

Well I find it ironic that Hoodlum released Stronghold2 v1.2 Cracked Update yet there is still no Dawn Of War v1.30 cracked update (which likely has a larger following worldwide then Stronghold2). Even the latest Act Of War v1.04 still hasn't been cracked! Grrrrrrrrr..
So yes I'd like the scene to go back to the way it once was.. groups dedicated to cracked updates.. there must be a will to do em again. I mean common on: when one group died, another always filled the void. So whats happened now? Scene is really locked-down a little too much these days.

All the more reason independants should have filled the vacuum. There should be hundreds of smaller crackers wanting to take the challenge up or some of their peers asking for it to play in LAN/Private Online Server setups. Usually everything balanced out but now what gives? All of a sudden everyone moved to consoles?

sucks too, gimpsrus were the best. they made the famous Warcraft III bnet crack. i hate that fucking reloaded release with the DLL or the java renaming one. some other bnet cracks were based on gimpsrus but still were no where near as good as theirs.

i d love to see more DOX hitting the scene but with the newer copy-protections it gets harder and harder.
I m still waiting for a no-cd crack for doom3 patch 1.3 also, Go go go crackers

Without gimps and Drunk there is just Hoodlum doing the big patches, for Doom 1.3 there is an ind one since days ago which works fine (not online of course) and I think TnT released one a bit later too

Sure... i agree on that more patch crackers wouldn't be bad, but I have seen many patch cracks from reloaded and fairlight in the back days. Like all WarCraft III patches have been cracked.

Well truth is current crackers don't care about dox unless patch comes right after the release of the game or they are still playing the game which is rare heh

This is why clone releases pwn cracked releases, you just patch the game and play no worry about cracks.
