I guess you already got storage ? It certainly looks good to me, price-wise it feels okay, if you're still willing to go for an AMD gpu Razz
I'm no expert when it comes to manufacturers though, waiting on the hardware specialists !

120gb is nothing. And if you are playing games then you definitely want to install games on SSD not some slow HDD

This. Invest in at least 500Gb SSD. Its worth it.

The Rest is ok. Might try AsRock this time. Why not. I just don't understand why you would go the AMD route, when you were having issues with them.

Do that first, look at a few builds, make a few builds and come back to us. Us just telling you what to buy doesn't help you in the long run. I mean it might be nice to learn a thing or two (they have guides). Especially considering that hoax thread...

And take your time, no need to rush it.

Surprisingly, they are not, and rather cute Smile

I'm aiming to build one myself in a NZXT H1 case (once I get hold of one), with the guts of what I'm using now Wink

Will these ssd be good for gaming thinking on buying 2 of them as there cheap considering other options.
Thr difference between hdd and ssd for gaming is big.
But ive just watched a video in the ssd thread in this forum and thr video is saying there is hardly no difference in gaming on different types of ssd's?

I wouldn't get a noname brand for your SSD. Dont be tempted by these low prices. Find some Crucial BX, Corsair, Kingston or Samsung with around 500r/500w and you're good.

The difference in gaming itself isn't that big but loading times, installation and copying stuff is alot faster. And considering modern games have tens of gigabytes you'll be more than happy being able to install some of the games on your SSD. I still use a 2TB HDD for the older titles.

I am struggling choosing a psu as there are not many in the ebuyer website.
Was watchimg a youtube video about the lack of current psu's at thr moment.
But here is the pc i am thinking upto now.

MSI Radeon RX 5700 MECH GP OC Graphics Card
(Going to overclcok and undervolt the get rx 5700 xt levels)

AMD Ryzen 5 3600 AM4 CPU/ Processor with Wraith Stealth Cooler
(I ordered this in my precious build what i sent back and it seems a solid cpu).

MSI B450 GAMING PRO CARBON AC AM4 DDR4 ATX Motherboard
(I have read a bios update is needed for thr ryzen 5 3600 cpu but once done its all good)

StarTech.com 1.5g Metal OxIDE Thermal CPU Paste Compound Tube for Heatsink - cpu paste - thermal compound - thermal grease
(The ryzen 5 3600 has cpu compound pads on it but ill put cpu paste on too keep it cooler)

HyperX FURY 16GB (2x 8GB) 3200MHz DDR4 RAM - HX432C16FB3K2/16
(Is there any better version memory to get?
I am not tech savvy with memory so any info would be great)

Aerocool Cylon 700w 80+ Psu
(This psu sounds decent but not many on there website so any recom3ndations here please?)

Thats what i am thinking.

All in £745.76.

I don't know Aerocool as a manufacturer so they might well be good, but I'd rather go for a well-known, reputable brand when it comes to PSUs, something like the Cooler Master MasterWatt 750W sounds good and should be within your budget.

I suppose it will work, but honestly, I don't like any of the PSUs listed on that site.

Good PSUs in the 600W range will start at 80-100 bucks and more. Something like Seasonic, or be quiet or Corsair etc. with at least 7 years warranty. Gold plus efficiency should be minimum.

Remember: buy cheap, buy twice.

i don't say this often, but sometimes it's the best thing to just buy a pre build pc.
yes some parts may be worse then, like the power supply, a low end motherboard or slower ram, but seeing your parts, your budget and the knowledge about building it on your own and not having any problems, it may be the best to buy a complete pre build pc for your budget.

everything will be done for you and you will have warranty and pretty much the same performance, as when you would build it yourself.

and no this isn't an attack on you and please don't be offended by this.
i know some people who did this, since they have no clue what they are doing and it's just the best for them. like my parents, older friends or twitch streamers were i was mod for some time.

Quite a few places that build the PC to your spec as well.

I can recommend Alternate for it. One time I was just too busy with work for the next months that I decided to try out them building my PC. I picked the parts and what arrived had me surprised a clean professional build like I would do myself.

As to your choices, I'll check it but not today. Just done a whole day of garden work and I'm left with various body aches and too tired to use my mind.

Edit: That EVGA will fit in an ATX case and yes that case is ATX.

And thanks everyone for the tips.
I am glad i changed the graphic card from an rx 580 8gb to this RTX 5700 from the other thread i made.
If i cannot get this build working correctly i will buy a pre made one.
Be a first that though built all my pc's and did not really have major issues.
That last one was madness with the issues.
