this is confirmed + search engine is far from being precise
so why not use this topic
first deus ex was epic , second was just a title to promote xbox , especially PC version it had many issues first of them was shitty optimization
let's hope they really plan something big on this one rather than just squeezing it for the money
because first game was one of the best games I've ever played

I assumed they'd call it Deus Ex 2 as Invisible War was never really labelled as a proper sequel, and rightly so.
Not exactly got high hopes for this, but would be a nice surprise if it goes back to it's roots.

The first one was a fucking masterpiece. The second one was okay but not a worthy successor. I have doubts about this one but I hope I'm wrong. A game like this deserves to have an epic continuation.

Well that kind of stealth system could work as long as they do it like in Splinter Cell i.e staying concealed depends on both shadows and wall hugging. The damage system is pure shite though...

i hope 3 makes a big circle around 2 and behaves as it never existed.
PS! Deus Ex still pwns most of the FPS/"RPG"games today (except for the looks, what are outdated. otherwise superior to 90% of the poopfest that they call games)

No way that will happen, Warren is gone and super-regenerating health takes his place, it will be a crappy console game top to bottom nothing like the original.

QFT.
It's a shame but it's going to be crap. Nothing can save it now.

The story was bad, the level design was bad, it looked like shit and ran like shit, the RPG aspect was cut to pieces ... bleh, after that shit, they shouldn't be making a third part.

Amen.
Deus Ex and Thief were among the first and greatest series' to be watered down and butchered for consoles. Let the legends rest in memory I say. As much as I initially had hope for a sequel, no good can come of it. Not in today's market - with focus on 95% visuals and 5% gameplay. Too many kiddies with no clue as to what made the legends great. Times and tastes have changed too much.
