Horizon Forbidden West — the sequel to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn — won’t arrive on the PlayStation 5 until 2021.
Forbidden West is even more detailed than the previous game and also offers a larger map.
And thanks to the PS5’s super-fast SSD, there’ll be “virtually” no loading screens, with travel, booting up the game, and restarting levels said to take place incredibly quickly.
May the NFOrce be with you always.

Can't wait! I'm happy Aloy is back, i do hope they'll make better characters this time, last game only had Aloy as a decent character. Also i hope they expend the villages and maybe even add cities tho that seems very unlikely. Combat and enemies were the strong point of the first game so I'm sure second game will be a blast.
The stream already started so you can watch a slideshow of ingame graphics until then lol. Looks pretty nice! Having said that these environments look like they are from Horizon Zero Dawn to me lol.
Thought it looked miles better than Horizon 1, in every aspects : graphics, animations and gameplay.. Specially animations, they look on par with Naughty Dog games IMO.
Awesome trailer new areas, new enemies, new weapons and abilities, i especially like the glide option they added, game looks so good art is amazing, just can't wait. 2 main things i love so much about Horizon is the enemies, the idea you fight dino robots is so fucking awesome, and they really nailed the dinos design, like the new mammoth? fight looks so cool.
Second thing is the combat which is so satisfying, would never thought a bow combat be so good.
Was so disappointed from Guerrilla Games after Killzone Shadow Fall, but tbh this and previous Horizon is so much better then Killzone that i don't miss it.
upcoming february its gonna be 5 years between the last one and this
if it was a completely new engine or a full revamp for next gen or something, sure, but a sequel on the same gen with the same engine taking 5 years from such an experienced team? weird
I sure hope it's not just getting this to run on last gen that's holding them back now
Likot Mosuskekim, Woodcutter cancels Sleep: Interrupted by Elephant.
Previous game took them 7 years. Skyrim took 6 years in comparison (100 people working on it).
No idea how many they have working on this game, but 5 years isn't a lot for an open world game i would say.
The Assassins Creed games are done quite fast though, but i think they have like 1000 people working on those. For Valhalla they had 15 studios working on it, several hundred people doing just art.
