GREAT !!!!!!! Man i loved Morrowind, it was such a great RPG, i´ve never played a game where there were so many real world options as in Morrowind. Great to see that the elder scrolls series is getting a new sequel, and wow those graphics omg PS2.0

Morrowing in my opinion is a master piece. A huge world with races with coltures and traditions and a wide variety of Quests and Items.
Oblivion looks just awsome, the gfx is so..so...gud. If they keep the original forumla and combine it with this gfx, it's going to be super.

Haha, give me a break.
It looks good but it's no where near the detail we have seen in unreal3, not even close man so hardly byebye unreal3 Smile

And to be honest, with the history they have with morrowind running so bad i cant say i have high hopes for this. But hey let's hope they learned their lesson with morrowind and actually make a good running engine with nice framerates Wink

Man, just read this:
Quote:
Like in Morrowind, players will have the option to experience the main quest at their own pace, and there will be plenty of opportunities to explore the vast world and make your own way. Numerous factions can be joined, such as the thieves or mages guilds, and each contains its own complete storyline and the chance to rise to the head of the faction and reap further rewards. Due to the new AI system, called Radiant AI, the NPCs will have the ability to make their own choices based on the world around them. They will decide where to eat, who to talk, what to say - they will also sleep, go to church, and even steal items, all based on their individual characteristics. They will have full facial animations and lip-synching, and full speech for all dialogs

I hope this game doesn't pull a Fable and keep droppin' shit, 'twould be a shame.

I like the sound of their AI, all the stuff they will do, should make it a very interesting world.

Let's hope they keep it all in. Smile

hmm I'm sure this will be a success.
Morrowind was fun but it kinda sucked that you just didnt hit based on a miss percentage and when you hit there was no real hit feedback. I hope they get a new kickass battle system for the new Elder Scrolls

Just hope they tuned the faction part abit so you cant join em all, some will hopefully be at war with each other so you have to make a choice who you wanna join and fight the others etc. This makes you play the game over and over and not join every faction possible and do eveything.
The fighting part will hopefully be done from sratch, it was the only weak part of the wonderfull Morrowind.
One thing that would be really cool is if you can join the bad guy and do some evil quests for him, like kill a king etc etc
This is the game to get after HL2, to bad it'll be a while before its out.

Hopefully this won't be made for consoles (or a dual production with PCs), I am almost sure that it will be on consoles at one point but we all know how PC games degrade when made for consoles...

actually as far as I know it's beeing developed for Xbox 2.

And no, PC games do not degrade when made for consoles, because there are no PC games made for consoles. There are console games, and there are PC games.
Console games are made for consoles for a reason, so it makes sense that it is not the real thing when ported to a PC anymore and will not be as good as the console version, because it wasn't created to be on a PC, just ported there so fans of the genre can still have fun with the game even if they don't own a particular console. Console -> PC ports are for fans, not for the broad audience.

Almost every gamer wants to play GTA:SA, so when thats ported it'll be for a broad audience.

Anyway I think SigmaHex was referring to games that are joint developed for console and PC at the same time. Such as DeusEx 2 or Thief 3. We all know they suffered because of this.
