What tricks do you use? Any special mouse or keyboard (hardware) or any "advanced" software settings you do to make your games as low-latency and snappy as possible? Do you have G-Sync or something else on your monitor?
I'm just about to dive into it, getting my first G-sync screen.. i'll also tweak any other settings i can find.
I found this post rather interesting (Reducing Input Delay with Nvidia Inspector):

@scaramonga yeah, windows 7 seems to be a bit better.
yes, it's taken a long-ass time to get where we are now with TN panels..
I'm mainly gaming on an OLED TV with around 21ms latency. I can't say i'm finding it distracting in any way, so it will be interesting to see what i think of the new screen with way less latency + higher refresh rate.

I force freesync to always be enabled by having global 58fps rtss lock so games are always in freesync mode

Quick impression of the ROG Swift PG279QR, it does feel a lot more organic when you move around.. it does seem to make me more aware when something isnt optimal though.. NMS for example stutters sometimes, thats more annoying now - moving from ultra smooth to shit in an instant. Very impressed with the sharpness and colors, expected it to be far worse.. much better than on my older ultrawide Samsung. Sharper than my OLED, but its a TV so maybe thats to be expected.
Gonna try messing with the Nvidia inspector settings and im gonna need a less demanding game than NMS to test input latency etc..

Here's a very in-depth guide;
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1c2-lUJq74wuYK1WrA_bIvgb89dUN0sj8-hO3vqmrau4/edit
So far so good, i've done most of the things in the guide, restart went fine.
As for more responsive games, i probably would need a few hundred hours of some shooter to notice any difference from before + i recently got a new screen so yeah not optimal conditions to know if something really changed or not. All games do feel super responsive.
