Well I’m surprised there is no official Game Pass thread anywhere here but this is worth creating one for.

Wow this is pretty good. I pay for Game Pass Ultimate and I thought about getting EA Access quite recently. It’s only £4 per month but now it comes free! Microsoft killing it with consumer friendly value!

The $5 PC price was never intended to be a long term price. It said as much when I signed up for a trial a year ago.
I would love to see a Ubisoft offering, either part of Game Pass or not. Can't see it being part of at current price though. EA Access worked out at $2.50 a month. Uplay+ goes for $15/month, same RRP as UGP.

Mine is ending in 2 days. Already ordered 2 one year Xbox Live Gold subs and will do the $1 conversion to *hopefully* get 2 years of Ultimate.

Thats 12 months Xbox Live Gold, at Amazon it's 60 USD/50 GBP, per year.
You got good deals over CDKeys and other sites.
After you buy 3 x 12 months you add 1 USD and convert it to Game Pass Ultimate.

I'm in the US, so never had to do any of that, but I do think if you're trying to game for the best geographical prices the process is slightly different for XBL vs PSN. I think I hear more about people doing it with PSN than I hear about XBL.

didn't see the original announcement, only some news on local game portal
I'm aiming to make my account US, from PSN prices are best for US region and it's easy to get US gift cards to top up the account, so i think it will be best, deals and such will be at USD which is preferable for me. There's some migration acoount option you can change that should make it like original US but i don't want to test it before knowing what it will do, as this can only be done once every 3 months. Might test it when my XSX arrives.
