So currently, ive taken a break from work to do some studies. I never did go to highschool so I thought i might aswell get a highschool degree.
Anyway, ive already spend last fall on this, so this is my second term.
In sweden you can get financial help when you do this - and this works rather well -, but you have to apply for it every term.
Anyway, apparently i had done something wrong when i applied for this term and they sent me a mail asking of i was sure about what i had applied for.
I noticed my mistake and was about to reply when i noticed the mail had a "this mail cannot be replied" at the end.
So I went to their site and logged in. I could not find anywhere to reply to the mail other than write a new mail (which takes 3-5 days before they answer). But for once I decided to call them instead (as I found their phonenumber). Just to speed things up.
I called them up and got place 164 (!) in the que. Fine, I might aswell wait cos it still means i wont have to wait those 3-5 days for the mistake to be corrected.
23 minutes (yeah, it went that fast) later i got through and explained my problem to the guy at the other end.
This is kind of how he replied to me (with a very slow and anoying voice):
Go...to our..... homepage. <long pause> .. log on....no wait.....there...there is no need to log on... <pause>
..do you see the "contact us" at the top of the...eh...page? <pause>
<yawn> click on it...<pause>.... go down....go down to where it say what kind...what kind of studies you do...<pause>
..do you see it? <pause>...click on it.... <pause> hold on a sec <pause>..... now go to the part....the part <pause> where it says "Send email"...<pause>....
...here you can write to us about your problem... <all silent>...

What the hell? So I sat in que for 23 minutes...spoke to this guy for like 5 minutes..only to get told that I had to write an email to them? lol what kind of bloody support is that?
So now I have to wait those fucking days anyway lol...what a waste of time!
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.

yeah that's how it is these days with "support". nothing new really. they just have some guy that can answer the MOST basic shit, like "what is your home page adress?" and the people who can do in-depth stuff are not on the phone, they're on email.
that's why the queue is so quick too, he doesn't go in-depth into anything, doesn't solve anything.

yes, chat support is way better than sitting on the phone. if there's both i use chat.
