have there been any mods or TC's for this game?
i noticed i still have it on my HD and i was curious, I googled for it but only found a couple an there not to interesting. I for some dumb reason belive there could be some i am missing. The only one i really found was Plaza Raid. Does anyone know if this is all there is out there for this game? I would be surprised is all i really thought the mods would have taken off for this engine. I guess noone else thought so Sad

I use this mod called Cinema 1.6 mod. It's a very good mod. Makes the game feel more movie like. Bullet time is slower, skins for Max and Mona are different, music plays when you're in Bullet time, goes widescreen when you do the slow motion dive, etc. You can find it at gamershell.com or fileshack.com

The official mod contest has really ruined the MP community. Without it I am pretty sure we would have had a huge amount of great mods out.

Cinema 1.6 mod is real good indeed !

For the hellsing crash : U got to desactivate the pixel shader manualy (it's in the game's config @ start)

A good site but in french (it has been translated, but google style ^^)

Enjoy !

Yeah it has ended, but it managed to kill the mp community before it ended so of course there won't be any mods out now that it is dead...

Also there where a lot of people who entered some even entered more then once. If it hadn't been for the contest I know that we would have had all of those juicy mods in our hands and on my site Wink

Because almost nothing has gotten released. Almost everything that has been made has been submitted to the contest and as a result the community has died slowly out. I am not saying that the contest was a bad idea, I am just saying they picked the wrong time to have it. If they had allowed for a few major mods to be released first then it wouldn't have killed the community has it has now because then people would actually have some mods to play instead of nothing.

Correct, thats why it has killed the community. If they were allowed to release there stuff and still enter it into the contest everything would be all good. And thanks Wink

It should, but it isn't really updated. I was suppose to get it updated when we got the site back up, but it never happened. Maybe I should get my lazy ass into gear and do it someday...

The UT2004 contest has made alot more people consider making mods, especially with a prize of $1,000,000.

So contests can be good.

they say anything about when they announce a winner?
or when it is over if they can realease there work?
its all over a gaming rig too, i dunno, i was just assuming the prize was more like UT contest. I dunno if i worked hard on something i would want ppl to try it out i dont think a payne styled rig would persuade me to keep it in lockdown.
