The series is set just after the death of a king in Korea’s Joseon period, which lasted from about 1400 to 1900. Shortly after his death a mysterious plague causes the king and a horde of others to rise from their grave bringing a wave of undead-terror to the country. The series will follow the crown prince as he attempts to survive the sudden outbreak
Kingdom will debut on Netflix on Jan. 25, 2019 and it has already been picked up for a second season
Haha actually no, I said on another forum that i really liked it and someone suggested i should also see that show. It has a higher rating than Kingdom even..
Started a bit weak but became better with every ep. I was pissed though since it ended just when it started to pick up steam.
eps 1-3: 7/10, eps 4-6: 8.5/10
The acting (especially comedic parts) is very different from hollywood etc and i had no bigger problems with it, just like i wasn't too bothered with the hat-fetish either, it's just a very different culture.
I do agree about the King, but eh, i guess we can accept that the room temperature also drops at night. I personally prefer cold temperature for sleep (it's often recommended) so i make sure there's no heating turned on anywhere a few hours before i go to bed. The twist isn't perfect though, and there were a few other things too that didn't make much sense and was a bit sloppy. Still, i found it really great because of the colorful characters, setting, photo - top notch...
lol at that ending, reminded me of the one from prison break season 2, everything was nice and settled for the end and then bam, a cheap shot and future seasons
