They seem to have the strategical cut contents already geared up for the release, along with Gold and typical AAA gaming shenanigans at their finest. Then again what else is new, Warn a Brotha!
As for the game itself, I expect some sort of more of the same, hoping though that unlocking powers this time around won't turn the game into a 3D cookie clicker. who am I kidding, of course it will
Got so bored with the first one. So I don't have any exceptations with this. I bet it will be rince and repeat - safe approach of AAA titles.

The black guy in the trailer seems to be from the good guys. I am sure the devs will pull out the "redeemed bad guy" card and some Easterlings and Haradrim will fight against Mordor which doesn't make sense because they all had their lands taken by the Gondorians who pushed them to live in a hot and lifeless desert and Sauron is the only one who promised to give them back their territories. Well, modern times I guess.
Speaking of colored Sauron is white though isn't he?
Or well technically it's something like a half-god kinda-looks-like-a-elf thing far as little I remember of the (Really really extensive.) lore and background info on the guy, including his previous master and all the things around the Silmarillon and other works that Tolkien had made to expand on the original Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings universe, full on language being one part of it.

(Tons and tons of reading material, probably nowhere near required to what these games will feature though, orcs bad, make orcs dead.)
EDIT: Though Sauron is a bit of a pussy compared to http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Melkor he had something like a "army" of IKEA Saruman do-it-yourself homebrew orcs whereas Melkor had a army of Balrogs, of course everyone was more powerful back in the ancient era as usual for fantasy.
(Again though, orcs are moving, make the orcs non-moving is probably enough for this game though perhaps they can expand a bit on the backstory of the characters and the ending of the first game.)

Looking forward to this. First one was grindy and repetitive but fun still. Hoping they'll build on the mechanics of the first and introduce some variety and more depth. Perhaps a proper story as well.
He is Maiar which is it's own race by itself. Gandalf, Radagast, Saruman and the other 2 only mentioned wizards are also Maiar. So are the Balgrogs. The Maiar are spirits who took their own appearances when they came to Middle-Earth (I am not totally sure on this).
Spoiler:
So Sauron is white because nobody in his right mind will choose to be black.
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
