Can’t remember the last time I was genuinely bored.
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Well i try to figure out why i'm bored, usually i think its just dopamine depletion. If i go through everything in my head and everything feels just "meh, don't feel like it". It usually means i need more sleep. If i can't sleep i do boring stuff, like cleaning, painting (a wall or whatever that needs fixing), this since everything is just boring anyways. So basically it's waiting / sleeping it out while perhaps also doing something boring.

I'm pretty predictable. Either read, play video games, or play around & tinker in my garage/shop, same things I do for last 20 years haha.
I can't think of the last time I was sitting around thinking I was bored, and continued to be bored. If all else fails and I'm not in the mood or have the energy to do any of those, find either some documentary or comedy on TV and take a nap on the couch watching it...I love naps

How tf can you get bored in this day and age?
Start welding, fck btches, go to da gym, read books(digital), participate in master debates, talk to random people, film smth outside, play DeusEx again, buy three-dimensional printer, take online courses, follow homeless dog, etc.

Well "OK" stands for "knock out", "are" and "Yuo" should be obvious.

Sorry. I was bored. |
I was a SSRI user (+ also other drugs) from when i was 25-39 so i do have some experience.. it's how i have my pension to begin with. There are no drugs for long term daily use, everything loses effect, or dulls you over time, especially SSRI's.
I'm not against SSRI's or even experimental drugs for depression (like Psilocybin). For short term they're awesome, might give you energy to get your shit together, or instead they'll dull you.. make you happy lying on the bed looking at the roof and that will boost your serotonin levels just as much as seeing a girl or playing music or whatever.. Good luck feeling like that long term

Long term alcohol use is something i never really did, i've always hated alcohol because it's so unpredictable for me. The drugs i've done long term is GHB/GBL (probably did an entire year where i was high on it, then on/off for 2 years... it's like alcohol but just the good parts + get great deep sleep and build muscles, makes you horny beyond imaginable though), Tramadol (on/off usage for 2 years, doesn't work at all any longer, incredible when it worked, made me super creative), ephedra/ephedrine (ephedra worked to 90% like good amphetamine for me, not great for the heart i bet), SSRI's (various, many years) also during heavy depression i got way scarier stuff than SSRI's, made me a zombie.
