I am looking forward to it. Super Meat boy was one of most magical indie games moment ever. it was just fantastic and so addicting. I had this little netbook(yep one of those) when the game came out and I was playing smb on it during my studies

Meat Boy and Bandage Girl have grown as a couple since 2010. It seems like only yesterday the two love birds were escaping from an exploding laboratory in the sky. Now it’s the current year, and they’ve welcomed their daughter Nugget into the world. Their peaceful days enjoying life as a family came to an abrupt end when Dr. Fetus beat the snot out of them with a rusty shovel, and kidnapped Nugget! Now it’s up to Meat Boy and Bandage Girl to rescue their daughter from a lunatic fetus in a jar that can only be described as an incel version of Tony Stark.
Super Meat Boy Forever is the sequel to Super Meat Boy! This is a new experience that eclipses the original. Don’t stare directly at it unless you still have your eclipse glasses.
7200 individually handcrafted levels combine dynamically to give you a new challenge every single time you play. Seven thousand two hundred levels. They said we couldn’t do it, but we did. Who’s they? Don’t ask. They don’t like it when you ask.
It’s hard, but fair. Nothing in life worth having comes easy. Just ask Dark Soulman.
Meat Boy and Bandage Girl can fight back. It’s time to unleash the raw fury of parenthood on their foes just like Liam Neeson in that documentary about his family vacation in Paris.
Bigger boss battles than before. Your mind will be blown. Your socks will be blown off. Team Meat is not liable for any of this.
Brand new art with stunning detail and resolution. There are a lot of pixels in here. Grab the biggest display you have and watch those dots change color rapidly with gumption.
Don’t sit too close though. (If your parents aren’t home you can sit as close as you want we won’t tell, but Team Meat is still not liable for any of this.)
A soundtrack composed by Ridiculon so intense that the state of Wyoming has issued a ban on all audio devices capable of playing it out of fear that just a single note will cause the dormant super volcano beneath Yellowstone to erupt ushering in a new age of darkness.
Frame by frame artisan crafted in game animations, and animated cutscenes that will make you experience procedurally generated emotions.
A story so rich and moving that it makes Citizen Kane look like an unboxing video for a dehumidifier.
The artstyle and music are all wrong... Guess we will see.
Lol and that fucking epic store exclusivity continues wtf

Bravo Epic. That’s what we always wanted on PC. Exclusivity wars with 15 different stores. It's one thing to try and create a competitor for Steam, it's another to buy out exclusives instead so that if you want a game you will have no choice but use their store. Especially considering some of the games were supposed to come on Steam, but are now either not appearing at all or they release a year later.
Super Meat Boy creator Tommy Refenes confirmed Epic Store exclusivity on the game's official Discord channel. "Super Meat Boy [Forever] is coming to Steam April 2020, a year after it launches," he said, adding that the new store was "desperately needed to get Steam to give a shit".
"I understand people don't like change but...the end result of this will mean better games for people. It maybe more launchers [for players], sure, but a small price to play for a developer community that doesn't feel like they have one choice on PC.
So what does Valve or Steam have to give, the 18% or so difference between 88 and 70 % of the revenue can't be it when Steam makes up for it with the user base and number of sales for which it seems Super Meat Boy has sold millions on PC though exact figures aren't as easy anymore and some of these will be through discounts and bundles but that's still a lot of sales.
Feature wise the Steam API itself and functionality given to developers is expanding constantly and this also goes for the users of the client having features for gamepad support, Linux via Proton, cloud saving support (If used by the dev.) and much more.
Hmm I wonder how much Epic is paying up front for some of these early deals to promote their stores anyway, guess we'll never know and depending on their curation and how that works some titles might be offered more for exclusivity even if it's timed.
70% was never really confirmed for steam.
Besides - steam gives access to cloud saves, game-centered forum and guide. Screenshots, streaming, sharing, inviting friends. It is a pretty good platform now and not just a store.
Even it 30% going to steam is true, it might not be too bad considering servers cost, saving and patching system and so on.

You know which store will sell those games? The ISO store. These idiots are shooting themselves in the feet on PC.

Yup, they're creating the perfect setup for their own demise with such iper-aggressive anticonsumer practices. When the store was announced I thought they had a more logical plan in mind, but it really looks like all they can do is act like cocky pears and play the "we've got Fortnite money" song of short-sighted exclusivity.
..and yet you can bet that they'll end up blaming pirates (..again! )
Loved first one, but my oh my if i'm not super disappointed from this one.
They've made it like Flappy Bird, Impossible Game where player doesn't control character movement and you pretty much only jump and slide, cant stop , change speed etc....
