Phantom Brigade is a turn-based tactics video game developed by Tetragon Works.
It features lots of giant robots and some minor things on the side:
Strategy
Make high-level tactical decisions on the world map, manage your base, and decide how to apply your limited resources. Move your squads across the country and carefully balance risk against rewards.
Tactical combat
Take command of your squad in a varied selection of missions ranging from sabotage of enemy equipment to infiltration of high tech facilities, and from convoy ambushes to challenging outpost onslaughts.
Customization
The game features a rich customization system, allowing you to tweak every performance metric, configure every bit of equipment and access a wealth of cosmetic options. Make your squad visually striking and ready to face any challenge.
Destructible environments
It wouldn't be a proper game about walking tanks without some crushed buildings. Our tech allows every square meter of every scene to be destroyed. Create your own routes, blow up the enemy cover, or even catch your enemy off guard after someone's torn off arm crushes through a roof, leaving a flank exposed.
seems cool, like the new battletech/mechwarrior game.
can't like the mech designs... i love a more stylish-refined like Full Metal Panic/gundam, these ones are even worst than front mission.
they say they aim for Front Mission / Armored Core -like mech design + expansive customization ... but who knows how rich the customization will end up being
Those "mechs" remind me of 40K Armiger Imperial Knights whom are piloted by "lesser nobles" or locals (mom and pop or your next door crazy uncle) whose only interest is safe-guarding your region or community. Damn.. I want a 2-4 story mech parked in my backyard ready at a moment's notice to emulsify the accursed invaders who would dare put my family at risk...

As with our previous announcement for Industries of Titan, Phantom Brigade will be on the Epic Store for one year as Early Access. After that, we’ll launch a full 1.0 release on both the Epic Games Store and Steam.
Launching this way with two stages gives us the opportunity to spend more time perfecting the details of the game, and making sure that we can do the full launch with the strongest product possible. We really love how Phantom Brigade is looking right now, and we can’t wait to show you more in the coming months. And if you’re excited to see it, don’t worry! We’ll have a new game play video for you in the coming days.
Not sure I have ever had a game wishlisted for so long, hope it doesn't disappoint as much as Blood Bowl 3.
looks good to me, tempted to buy it.
although the devs give off the weirdest vibe about future development, guess the epic dollars didn't pay enough for them to be enthusiastic about the game
I tried the demo. It's a bit like X-COM with mechs and simultaneous turns. The prediction system combat was a bit junky because of the GUI, but overall was fun.
