So what do you guys think of this whole Zoe Quinn situation that the internet is exploding over? She allegedly slept with game journalists giving publicity and reviews to her game, seems to be going full on damage control.
There is a reddit thread with over 20,000 comments that mods keep deleting. Kotaku, and other sites are censoring all comments relating to this alleged scandal.

As far as I know she's some indie developer who has caused controversy in the past. I hadn't really heard of her before this, but the internet seems to be going crazy.
Seems like a nerdy/hipster version of the Kardasians or something.

I'd agree though this is possibly the first case of someone (allegedly) fucking a games journalist for good reviews/publicity. Normally you have to give them money.

I don't see why all the hype...some indy dev slept with some 3rd rate bloggers (IE game journalist) to promote a crappy game thru greenlight on steam.
All the corrupt, underhanded, multi billion dollar corporate deals also influenced by a 'crotch handshake' or 'let me buy you a escort to seal the deal' currently in the world..people get upset by this chicken feed version of it?
