sounded interesting otherwise but i can't stand it if they're gonna go SJW, that gets especially stupid when its not even set in modern day.
If someone has finished it and can comment on that perhaps... because sometimes people are exaggerating.

It's much better than Yellowstone.
I'd give it 8.5\10
The ending was satisfying.
There was no thread coz we were discussing it in the Yellowstone thread)
I don't remember any annoying SJW crap tbh. Perhaps there were some minor comments but they didn't bother me.

I'm only three episodes in and haven't noticed anything like that yet
It does tend to have a wholesome'y feel at times that I don't like. It's missing that HBO factor that would make a show like this 10/10. It's decent enough though

Gave up after seven episodes, too many drawn out pointless scenes and predictable outcomes.
 Spoiler: | I'm also totally sure that back then his daughter could go off with a native American and everyone would come to terms with it 
It was either oppressive for women back then or it wasn't, seems like the show wants to have it both ways.
The constant romanticising of everything doesn't help either. A group of people continually shedding numbers, starving from hunger, surviving tornadoes, drowning in rivers, fighting off bandits etc etc still have time to comment about the beautiful land and how it should be kept. Despite the fact that back then they were the ones spreading like cancer, building the foundations for what occupies the land today. These shitty bits of dialogue written as if someone from 2022 is speaking them are lame as fuck. |
The start of the season was certainly better than episode 5 and onwards.
