Hey guys,
I just discovered that there's a standalone version (re-implemention) of RetroArch's crt-royale filter.
https://github.com/akgunter/crt-royale-reshade
It's not pretending to be a pixel-perfect 1:1 port, but it looks fairly similar and it's got tons of options for fine-tuning.
Currently I'm only using it on a single player game.
Reshade's homepage mentions that the software is meant only for single-player games,
and that you *may* be banned if using it in multiplayer.
But what about games which have one launcher for both?
There's...
game-multiplayer.exe
game-singleplayer.exe
and ...
just-game.exe (such that MP/SP is whatever you chose in the menus)
I mean, ... if I wanna try Quake Enhanced Edition in Single Player ... how likely is it that I will be banned?
I have no experience with this, since it's the first day I use Reshade, so I ask.
