My old moniter once went all a redish once. It turned out i broke a wire in my moniter cable.Replaced the cable and it fixed my prob. not sure if this is realted to your problem. Need more info.
my old monitor (very, very old monitor) has some loose cables inside, and from times to times it suddenly gets a tint, of varying colors. Sometime theres like a green filter on it, other times it's yellow, or pink.. pretty weird.
My quick fix: I smash it really hard on the side. Sometimes it takes more than 1 hit. Never failed to fix it. (it happened about 100 times before I got pissed and bought another monitor )
