No, if they include the teams they must pay them and fund Putin’s war machine. If you have Russia in BF - you don’t have to pay anything.

yes, and fifa is full of cheaters on pc. i only played online seasons this year after game hit ea play (which i got via gamepass) 120-10-12 without no loss cheaters it would be easily 200+ wins

this year there is crossplay, so they can't afford it to still have cheaters on pc.
before that it was not worth it to really do something about it, but if it still happens this year, not only will the console players be angry, but also the transfermarket on all platforms will crash, like it happens on pc every year. because of the easy coins they make with cheats, which they then sell.

but it's ea, so it will probably fail somehow

im looking forward to it, the huge player base will benefit all plattforms (though ofc pc the most) gonna jump into it with ea play 10 hours trial and we will see if its worth paying for the game. even fut could get some kind of interesting with the chemistry changes

That sounds lie a great idea. I will probably do the same.

On a different note, does anyone here who plays these FIFA games regularly know anything about matches (both offline and online) being scripted to favour one side or the other under certain conditions in order to not frustrate newcomers/casuals or so the game isn't too easy or boring for the most experienced players?

yes and no. for online seasons i experienced only a few strange matches (in the last 5-6 years). regarding fut -> yes, feels very scripted. not even the very pricey players, but sometimes the opponent goalkeeper goes into godmode while your players cant even play a proper pass for 2 meters. but i dont know if it changed in 23 (or on nextgen at all) cant say anything about offline modes though, havent played them in years.

can anyone start the preload? was available monday evening, but directly crashed with an error before selecting install path. next day the preload was greyed out and today it lets me select the folder, prepares downloading and then oops and error occured... though its only ~40gb and will be downloaded in 20 minutes anyways it would be nice to preload it

I was able to download it. Looks like 4 more days remain for EA Play Pro

did you use origin or the ea app? and yes, next monday 4pm utc+2 for ea play (pro) on pc edit: i hate ea, installed origin and its downloading with 25mb/s... edit2: it seems they finally got rid of that launcher introduced with fifa 12 after pc got the same versions as 360/ps3. do they really get rid of old stuff after 12 years?

Pro clubs, they have a great opportunity to make the game better, i got 22 for free from ps plus, it is improved the gameplay not by loads and the ultimate team seems very good. But the rest of the game, meh, same old crap. They need to look at this pro mode and get it sorted, i don't really play ultimate team. Hopefully another studio will start making a football game like this and after all the years of drippy updates from the fifa devs. Show them how it is done seeing how there licenses are nearly up. Origin, the new ea app is really buggy i was not able to instlal SW Squadrons with it it kept saying its installed. Origin is also shit but at least it downloads stuff.

i never played it on ps5 or series x last year, but it looks so much better than the "last gen" versions now. gameplay seems good too, but as we know ea will patch it to death (especially with turning the speed up, which now feels good because its not that fast) fyi: i you have problems with ea anticheat: secure boot needs to be enabled and i had to run origin as admin to make it work

Game doesn't even launch here I'm getting this message: [iomg][/img] Then Origin crashes and can't restart it even after killing any remaining processes, only a reboot fixes it.

for me starting as admin fixed that, try starting origin as admin and then the fifa (or fifa_trial) exe directly from the folder as admin too

try disabling and re-enabling secure boot in the uefi, the antishit bs needs that. and then starting as admin as stated above
