The little info I had about this series completely missed the mark for me, thought it was "meh, yet another anime crap". I could not have been more wrong! This show is absolutely great: super writing, characters, mature themes, good animation... Binge-watched 4 episodes in a row, and there's a high chance I'll watch no. 5 tonight as well. Already hope there will be more seasons.
Turned out to be pretty darn good, was hesitant at first because of "3D anime from Netflix" look, but the authors poured real soul into it and 3D takes a backseat ride with nice modern 2D animation tricks.
Trailer is misleading for mainstream appeal btw very different pace from the full thing.
Probably one of the 2023 highlights in animation and story, not far off Spiderverse.

just swallow the pill already. after that everything will be easier, you'll have garbage to watch for a decade at least!
Stormwolf, power thru the first and most of the second episode as I thought it was not going to be as good as it was/is but it really picks up after that and tends to keep it going for the most part.
I think I mentioned a similar approach with the new Trigun and I recal you saying despite the rough start it turned out decent. I urge you to do the same with this one if you can.
If you have other/better things to watch by all means go for them, but definitely keep this in your backlog at some point.
