I remember the story that they are starting from. It was a good one. There are some that I prefer much better though but this story has a lot of key things you look for, when making a show, I guess.

haha, really? Not at all for me Razz Although the later novels he is quite an old guy. This story is from the 8th novel where Bosch appears. The end of the episode also made me remember why this story was suitable for a first season.

I fucking loved it. Titus Welliver doesnt look like the mental image I had of Bosch but he isn't bad imo, and he does well in dramatic parts! I always pictured him as pretty tall and broadshouldered and not as gossipy as he is here. They made Edgar and him swing pretty great

Lance Reddick as Irving is fucking great. Im pretty sure he isnt black in the books(honestly cant remember) but he is great for the role. Jamie Hector as Jerry Edgar is also great. I fucking hope this gets a good run. This would even make me buy amazon prime Very Happy Thats how much I wanna watch this.

So all these shows on Amazon only have the pilot made and based on our reviews they may be picked up?

Just saw Chris Carter's The After and though it wasn't as good as the X-Files, I wouldn't mind seeing more.

Pretty much. I did a focus group for Amazon last year. It's all based on that and how many viewers watch the pilot.

I like this so far. Definitely will watch it. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Through out the books the paintings intertwine to a degree with how Bosch is. There is even a whole book where a Bosch painting is at the center of it

Did you by any chance watch the pilot?

Maybe you think it's another CSI-style procedural? I might be wrong, but it's not gonna be like that at all.
